Manoj Joshi has served as Counsellor (Economic) at the Embassy of India, Washington, D.C., for the last three years. His job involves facilitating investment in India and bilateral economic relations with the U.S. Government in the areas of finance, energy, agriculture, transport and treasury.
Mr. Joshi has been working in the Government of India for the last 18 years. His previous assignment was working in the Trade Policy Division for WTO negotiations in the Ministry of Commerce. In that capacity, he looked after WTO negotiations for India for TRIPS Agreement, Trade & Environment, standards and other issues.
Before that, he served in the State Government of Kerala in various capacities. His educational qualifications are Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Chartered Financial Analyst.
